I love photography--I'm no pro, but I'm grateful for any chance to practice, and do something that I love. 

I'M BACK!!!

I've taken a hiatus from photography the last few years as I've focused on raising my kiddos.  It's time to bust out the camera again, and have FUN! 

My own family is the perfect place for me to start, practice, and capture life as it happens, and not posed. 

I believe beauty is found in everything and even in imperfection.  I don't want my photography to have a polished and perfected look.  I want my children to be caught in natural moments as they enjoy life and discover the world around them.

Kari and Allen

I was really lucky to get a chance to be the photographer for this amazing couple's wedding.  It was a chance opportunity, but one that I am so thankful for.  The other fantastic experience is that this couple was so fun to work with, and I know that they are going to have a life full of fun, love, and laughter ahead of them.  Congrats, Kari and Allen, and tons of love your way!

I can't help but swoon with this shot.  I think I got lucky with this because it's so romantic.  Allen was helping Kari with her shoes and snuck a kiss. So sweet!!

Wightman Family

I had a chance to do a photo shoot with the Wightman's and they were a lot of fun!!  They were so patient and the kids were AWESOME!  Imagine 90+ degree weather with 100% humidity that day.  They were troopers!  Here's a sneak peak.

More Portfolio Building

I had a ton of fun with this lady!  Stephanie and I went to high school together, and she was FUN to shoot!  And for those of you who want to know, downtown Richmond, Virginia is a FANTASTIC place to shoot.  I couldn't have been happier with some of the backgrounds I got.
